About Taita Resource Community Centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

A Community Based Organization (CBO),apolitical and a non-partisan community based and driven organization registered to pursue protection, promotion and preservation of rights and the wellbeing of communities in the Coastal region of Kenya. The organization mainly seeks to address needs and challenges affecting grassroots indigenous and local communities and cumulatively works to better the welfare of these communities and the natural environment. Its delivery strategies include: advocacy; cooperation, sensitization; education and training; capacity building; facilitating problem-solving; and, empowerment. Key in its intervention efforts, is multi-level collaborations and partnerships that continuous engage main stakeholders and actors of interests in its works. Under this proposed project, it has partnered with like-minded leaders of communities and community organizations across other coastal Counties to advance the land rights agenda in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tarcc is a very disciplined organisation law abinding and peace loving.We are guided by article 10 and 232 of the constitution:
a) high standards of professional ethics;
b) efficient, effective and economic use of resources;
c) responsive, prompt, effective, impartial and equitable provision
of services;
d) involvement of the people in the process of policy making;
e) accountability for administrative acts;
f) transparency and provision to the public of timely, accurate
